IndyCar Preview: Barber Motorsports Park
Since there isn't a new IndyCar game out on the market I had to use what I had, and what I used was the 2005 hit rFactor for PC. Now, you'll notice in this track preview that I chose not to use an IndyCar. I used the 2007 Sauber F1 car.
From time-to-time I'll mix it up with the cars I use. While the F1 car in real life is much faster, the baseline setup for both the Dallara IR-7 (2009 IndyCar) and Sauber F1 result in identical lap times.
Real life times hit 1.08.5440 this afternoon with Helio Castroneves fastest. The IZOD IndyCar Series Honda Grand Prix of Alabama is on the NBC Sports Network Sunday. Tune in and see if Rookie Sensation Tristan Vautier can keep up his speed and potentially come home with a win.
